Dear Valued Member of Hadleigh Rugby Club,
We are fast approaching the 4th Annual Tag Festival, to be held on the 12th March.
This is now a major event in our calendar and one which has been well supported by you all in the last three years. As you may be aware, this is now the largest TAG Festival in the UK, and we can be proud of the efforts of our small Club in achieving that. This year we have invited all Clubs within the Eastern Counties to attend, so it promises to be a spectacular day!
However, the Event does not run itself, and again we are seeking your support to keep it running – and growing! So if you feel well-disposed towards the Event, have a business or are a part of a business that may be interested in making a donation towards the day, please read the Brief below to see how you could assist?
If you need any evidence of the success of this Event, all of our children up to the Under 11s have benefitted from taking part as players in the previous Festivals, whilst all of the older age groups have assisted by refereeing, marshalling, or being helpful attendants and ambassadors for the Club on the day of the Event. To a boy or girl, they have all loved being a part of great team, day, to show off Hadleigh RFC and how well such an Event can be run!
Your help is all we ask for, in whatever way you are able to offer it. The proceeds go back into the Youth and Mini sections of the Club, to help and encourage the children in their early rugby years.
The Festival involves an immense amount of planning and preparation. With this in mind, we are asking regional and local businesses (or individuals!) to help support us with donations to help make the day a huge success. We offer businesses and individuals the opportunity to have a presence at the event, to be an integral part of the day and to get regional coverage.
As a donor, we will acknowledge your support and we have several high-profile ways of doing this in the lead up to the event, on the day and thereafter.
The opportunities include:
- To have your business named as the supporter for each age group event
- Business name on trophies handed out
- Business branded banners/flags displayed during the event
- Exposure in the extensive programme for the day
- Logos and business name on pitch markers/referee shirts/etc
- Display and promote your business during the day
- Regional press coverage
